Door Template came out of a working door shop. Years of laying out hinge locations by hand will teach you the same lesson: the math, the measuring tape, and the occasional rework are wasted time. The answer is a fixed-position jig that takes the variables out of hinge layout.

Four Steps. Zero Rework.
Step 01 — Set
Position the template against the hanging edge of your door. Tap nail hangers gently until template is secured. Adjust the edge stops to your hinge width and set the depth for your hinge thickness. Done once for the entire door schedule.
Step 02 — Mark
Secure the jig and trace all hinge positions in seconds. Every aperture is pre-positioned to exact spacing. No measuring, no math, no second-guessing.
Step 03 — Cut
Run your plunge router through each aperture. The template guides every cut to consistent depth and position. No layout lines, no freehand routing.
Step 04 — Install
Fit the hinges, raise the door, align with the frame recesses, and screw in. When the template is right, the door hangs right the first time.
